Oranges and Lemons
….who remembers playing and do kids still play it now??
Washing machine duly installed yesterday, washing all done but typically it rained today so no outdoor drying happening. Sparky and plumber here about 8am to check out the work I’d like done…both seemed very personable. Fridge freezer was installed by 10am so I gutted the downstairs loo and hallway whilst waiting for everything to settle before it got turned on.
Lunch followed by a quick walk along the prom then I drove up to M&S to pick up some supplies…I’ll do a proper shop during the week when it’s quieter! Another walk before tea when I did get a little damp…but it seems to be clearing up this evening.
There’s a very active gardening group in the village and the flower displays look fabulous…this one adorning the fence of the school.
In extras…the local bird life consists mainly of the three S’s - seagulls, starlings and spuggies with the odd pigeon and blackbird for good measure…mostly noisy, quarrelsome and greedy. The baby seagull had taken itself for a walk around town!
Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.
