Flower Friday

A walk along the river and back this afternoon and we had to shelter under a tree for the second time this week as we got caught by a heavy shower which luckily quickly passed over. I have seen this flower several times but I have been unable to discover it’s name although I know I have seen the name. Thanks to Annie, Biker Bear for continuing to host flower Friday. Almost the end of the month, where did July go to? We must have missed most of the storm, it passed us by unscathed.
It’s a Cleome flower, the name just came to me.
