Echinops bannaticus

Not a lot happening today.  Quite dull and drizzly.  Grocery shopping in the afternoon in preparation for the wee ones' sleepover.  I prefer the alternative name Southern Globe Thistle.  it's the second time this week that I've been able to catch a bee on a flower.  The extra shows a wider view of this section of the garden.  It's looking a bit wild with iris,  and a sunflower.
