Crummock with Red pike, Rannerdale and Haystacks.

Overnight snow again left the tops with a sprinkling and the high peaks with a good covering of snow. We drove via Whinlatter pass, rather than risking a snowy Newlands valley - to Crummock, and spent the day exploring the woods and shoreline of the north end of Crummock water. The snow-covered fells in the distance include Red Pike, High Stile, High Crag and Haystacks, with Great Gable just visible beyond.
