Magnolia Stellata

After a morning of small household tasks and a little stitching I wandered around the garden before lunch. Signs of Spring are encouraging on a dull day such as this. We have freesias showing very green buds, tulips just emerging from the ground, prunus campanulata ablaze with their cerise blossom and alive with tuis and a couple of magnolia stellata just beginning their early Spring show.
