Lofty aspirations

A day starts well with a bright blue sky and the promise of being inspired at a conference. Morale still high at the end of the day even though I do despair a bit at a certain type of talk that doesn't adapt itself to an audience of non native English speakers and overdoses on the statistics. I am much more into applied conservation than research, but there must be a way for the two to link more effectively.
