But for me they shine within your eyes

Tooli celebrated her birthday with us today. 

We started slowly with Breakfast at our favourite eatery.  Tooli and I ate too much which resulted in a nap being required when we got home.   While I slept; Tooli and her Dad watched Mulan. 

Gran visited in the afternoon; while I took Himself to the doctors; he has a very achy arm. Tendonitis the doctor says. 

Tooli's Bro phoned about 5 and chatted to us all with Jess for about an hour and a half. He was most miffed that we all passed the phone on to the next person as we headed off to get ready.  He would dearly have loved to have been with us to celebrate in person.  I can't remember the last birthday they had together. 

Our taxi came and we headed down . Our Rose Wine was delish. So delish we knocked it off in no time at all and started on our second.   Meal was delish.  Calamares and Baked Salmon for me.  Garlic Chicken for Himself; and Meatballs for Tooli.  We all had dessert too, and then we hit the Espresso Martinis. 

Suffice to say by the time the taxi arrived we were several sheets to the wind.
