Removing netting from black currant bushes

A good day harvesting black currants and gooseberries, we netted this crop a few weeks ago to hold back the pesky black birds although they are feasting on the bushes near the polytunnel. It’s a back aching job although once all is in the freezer we are left with a feel good factor and a G ant T as a reward.

The net has come off and the foe can feast on the odd few remaining.
