Taking a break.

A quiet evening walk, quite cool, but fortunately dry.
Darren as decided he’s going to take a bit of a break from blip. He feels like he’s just putting up the same post everyday and he’s getting a little bored of his own contributions to blip. Initially he was going to miss out the whole of August, he doesn’t have any time off from work next month, apart from normal days off and it could end up being like Groundhog Day. Instead of missing all August he’s going to just upload once a week and hopefully once September arrives going back to a more normal upload. He wouldn’t normally mention this, he’d just stop uploading but in the past when he hasn’t uploaded for a few days a few people have asked if we are ok, he obviously doesn’t want people worrying so decided it best to explain now so that people know why the uploads are infrequent.
Darren as an indifferent view to social media, it doesn’t interest him as much as it seems to interest other people, he’s never been on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, titok , Instagram or any of these new ones that seem to pop up on a daily basis. The only one he used to use was Flickr but hasn’t bothered with that in the last year, his inspiration for taking proper photos as dwindled since the pandemic started. So in the last year it’s been blip and snapshots of me and Darren as quite enjoyed it, he appreciates that he as all these photos of me from the past year that he probably wouldn’t have had without blip. He’s also got to know some interesting people and read about their daily life’s, the good days and the bad. So he just wants a bit of a break and hopefully come September will be more enthusiastic about his own uploads.
I’m sure he will continue to take photos of me on our walks and if there is a nice one that maybe the one he uploads for that week.
