Look who's Home!!!

After nearly 11 months!!!

Daughter Number 2's cat Maurice went Missing on 11th September last year after being moved to a friends house  while she was in the process of moving. DN2 was distraught and spend weeks and weeks looking for him. We printed posters and made numerous FB posts and enquiries but there was just no sign of him.

Then out of the blue last night, her BF Josh had a call from Cats for Crisis to say he had been visiting an elderly couples house for the last 2 weeks and sleeping in their green house. They called Cats for Crisis who came out to scan him. Josh's details were logged and so had the call!!!

They would have got him back last night but Josh had to take DN2 to a surprise Baby Shower with work. That threw a bit of a spanner in the works of course and that was why I couldn't confirm it last night as I didn't want to tempt fate!!!

Anyway, the elderly couple shut him in their shed this morning, popped him in a carrier, de-flea'd him and brought him back to DN2 and Josh.

He had travelled 6 miles away and it was almost half way as the crow flies back to her old house so it may appear this little chap has been looking for his Mummy too!!!

He has settled in really well considering he doesn't know the new house and probably got a bit of a shock at the size of his Mummy's tummy!!! He's the same cuddly cat they know and loved and hasn't left their side yet.

It really is the most incredible news. DN2 is very attached to her fur babies and actually hasn't let the other one out the house since Maurice went missing!!!

If only he could talk. we would love to know about his 11 month adventure!!!
