Wrap 'n' Wrap!
It's so much fun to make dumplings at home. Of course, I can make the skins, but usually I use ready-made skins, especially when I make pan-grille dumplings.
I prepared 2-types of fillings today. One filling is in minced pork, cabbage, and Shiitake mushrooms. The other one is in prawns, Japanese basil, and bamboo shoot.
Wrapping work is actually fun time to make dumplings. It's nice to work with pals like family or friends over chatting. My son used to help wrapping a lot, but he didn't feel like to make them today.
Dumplings are lined up on a pan and add some water. Grilles.....until water is gone. OK, Chi-ba! Chi-ba!
