Picking Peas

We have had an exceptionally good crop of mange tout peas this year.  For some reason this picture reminds me of the story  I used to read to my children when they were young of the Old Woman who went to pick beans and found a hairy toe!

This afternoon Mr and Mrs Puke came for tea and cake and as it was raining, we used the Carport Cafe for the first time in several months
