A poppy in the rain.
Woke at four and couldn't get properly back to sleep again, so I just got up and did some house work.
I'd booked a slot at the national library to see the 'Petticoats and Pinnacles' exhibition for K and me. Not a big exhibition, but a fascinating tiny film about the opening of the CIC hut on Nevis.
Having used the hut a couple of times on club trips it was a lovely insight into its origins.
Lunch was Italian on George the IV bridge, then a wander round the meadows for a chat.
After I saw K off I walked home. Home made beef stew for tea and a nice relaxing Sunday to look forward to.
