Mont Blanc

After a mornning of snow and low cloud here in Les Houches the mist cleared and the sun came out. The boys had a great day of ski racing, this time my son did not crash (though one other team mate did, poor boy) and he got good times for both his runs. It was not too unpleasant standing around watching the mornings races as the sun was warming even though it snowed intermittently.

After the races we hurried back down the mountain. stopping to admire this beautiful view of the magnificent Mont Blanc which dominates this area. A mad scramble to pack up everything, off to the airport and we will be home late tonight as it's back to school tomorrow.
