Spittal Beach

The continuous heavy snow forecast for last night didn't materialise, thank goodness - just a bit slushy on the roads this morning. Snow on the hills though.

It was grey and bitterly cold on Spittal Beach this afternoon, with only a few dog walkers braving the elements - wild sea, spray, howling wind...
