What a treat!

Shoes polished, suit pressed regimental tie to the fore!!

This evening I have been invited to attend a concert by the Royal Marine band at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines, an establishment that all Royal Marines pass through before they win their Green Beret. I still enter these gates with a great feeling of pride and also some trepidation in case they have just discovered I still have another week to do!!

I am being treated to this special evening not because of any thing I have done but by the fact that one of my daughters works with the Royal Marines and mentioned that her old dad was bootneck "Once a Marine - Always a Marine"

Muster in the Officers Mess at 1900hrs, say no more!
