On Yah Bike

Beaconsfield is a small suburb, only 20 hectares, fewer than 1000 people, easily missed on the main road between the airport and the CBD. Today we explored the cross streets, sat in the sunny 1930s park and looked in vain for traces of the working man’s model township laid out in the 1880s. Bright colours were the order of the day.
