Shades of green

An early walk round Fradley Pool. It was very damp but I didn’t get rained on.

It felt autumnal. Everywhere was overgrown, a bit soggy, and lush. Rosebay willowherb, long long grasses, fewer flowers and the first signs of blackberries. 

And it’s only August 1st…….
