Maize Silk

I managed to get out for a short walk after the rain stopped! I have noticed recently that the maize is beginning to produce these silky strands - so today I popped into one of the fields (just to the edge) to photograph some - I love the shapes and colours and today of course some raindrops had caught in the strands.

Project ‘garage clearance’ continues - more beer drained and bottles taken to the bank… :-(

I will have to ditch my crate of beer making equipment soon as well…
