Under The Surface

More fun with a polariser. I'm finding these type of images are less responsive and more preconceived. At least, it's a case of having an idea and then searching for a situation where it might apply. The idea is not fully formulated, so the process is firstly collecting material and secondly creation.

Similar to Going Deeper, based on three frames of the same scene with different degrees of polarisation, in this image I sought to transition from surface to under water in the same frame. Of course, it is two shots combined.

I'm not sure if I prefer the hard line transition, which is more dramatic, or the gradual version in extras.
