Rescued flowers

We have had a quiet, restful Sunday just as I like them.
Walked the dogs this morning (about 8k). When I got home I rescued these flowers (along with 3 more vases full) from the front garden. The really hard rain we have been having had flattened them all to the ground.
I live them I think they look beautiful in the kitchen.
This afternoon has mostly been cleaning and olympics watching the high jump made me tear up. A shared gold  so special after the last year all the athletes have had.
Dinner is done, Phil is clearing up now my evening can be even more relaxing. I dont even have work tomorrow, wonderful.
