Skater time

Skateboards and skater by the dozen by the the riverside most evenings this week.

The high netting surrounds a golf-driving range on the east side of the peninsula. Most balls are kept in bounds, but a few weeks ago a wayward golfball narrowly missed me as I walked along the Thames path, pinging off a concrete wall and into the lowtide Thames mud and shingle.
