New game

Took Darwin to day care this morning and then took Kilda for a nice walk at South Queensferry before going home. J is at the Credit Union annual planning day, so I was on my own. Left Kilda in the house to do some shopping and then collected Darwin from day care. He came down with 2 other dogs, all of them on the lead with no issues and didn’t want to get in the camper to come home, which was nice to see. Stopped off to collect JD on the way back as we had a games afternoon planned. JD helped get the TV back in the packaging for John Lewis to collect on Wednesday and then signed our wills to earn his bacon roll. Afternoon was spent learning to play Memoir 44, a game I bought for the both of us to play during lockdown about a year ago. Good game and a draw was a fair result. Next was Quacks with the expansion, which changed the game, and maybe not for the best. J came back from her Credit Union day and went straight out to a hen do. We had pizza for dinner and played El Dorado and then a deck builder that JD bought. It was midnight by the time he left. The dogs were good and knackered after their mornings and in the heat. J got back just after I went to bed.
