Has seen better Days (me too)

A strange Sunday; I was a bit out of it - "neben der Spur" as we would say in German. Very little sleep last night: the third weekend in a row it was party time somewhere in the neighbourhood and the third weekend in a row the police showed up to make it an end. I would use earplugs for the plain noise, but that doesn't help - the basses shake me through, no way I could sleep with this going on out there. When did considerate people disappear? I'm fine with normal parties, but this is just too much to tolerate. When I finally called the police station they said I was caller no. 4 just a few minutes apart and that they were already on their way.
