Mother And Child

This bronse sculputure was made in 1971 by the Dutch sculptress Gerarda Rueter.
In 1929 she won a silver medal at the Prix De Rome.
This sculpture is located across the entrance of the famous cemetery "Ooster Begraafplaats", my blip of 21 february 2013.
There are many sculptures in this area of Amsterdam, the Watergraafsmeer. The oldest is dated 1544.
