Having cancelled our August/September holiday to Ireland this year, we started looking for possible cancellations on Mull. We were lucky enough to find a fabulous cottage with gorgeous views, but only had a day and a half to pack! Who needs more than that! I'm here. :-) 

I sat for over two  hours earlier today watching this eagle in a far away tree. Only when I decided to get my lunch did it move! With a massive eagle heading toward me, I dropped the sandwich and tried desperately to get some shots. It was difficult because my camera strap had somehow become twisted and entangled with the binocular strap and I was being throttled and weighed down. I did the best I could in the circumstances.
