Happisburgh Long Exposure

The threatened rain did not materialise – just a few showers – and we had good skies plus quite a lot of sun for a return to Happisburgh in the morning.  High tide was due at midday so we arrived an hour ahead but parts of the beach were already covered and impeding access to the derelict sea defences.  I had fun with long exposures on the rocks laid to protect the cliffs from erosion and a long conversation with another photographer from St Albans who was also visiting the area. 
We tried walking along to the village to see if we could get access from the other direction. starting off along a track marked ‘Road Closed’.  After a short walk it was clearly a case of What Road? It had fallen into the sea a while ago and ended rather abruptly! We retreated to the normal beach access and managed (with just a little paddling) to get to the interesting sea defences.  Quite a few long exposures here with their distorted shapes.
Now back at our site for the night where the rain has set in – at least we had the day more or less clear.
