Golf view

We left Stratford this morning after a delightful week with the family but instead of heading straight home we have indulged ourselves in a 2 night stay at Slaley Hall in Northumberland. ( This is our summer holiday since everything else has been cancelled ! )

Since I enjoy my golf we paid a little extra for a room overlooking the golf course and I have been enjoying watching putting on the 18th and driving at the 1st which is less interesting. 

As the sun was setting towards 9 pm and we had returned from our evening meal I was intrigued to watch a lone golfer on the practice putting green using only one hand until I realised he was also talking on a mobile phone ! ( extra)
