Back to the building site

Today I return to the site of the new Science block at school to check out the progress. A couple of weeks ago, this area looked like this, but now many of the concrete ground beams are in place and the shape and layout of the building are becoming more visible.

They are now starting to link together the pipes from the 100m deep geothermal bores to route them to the plant room, where they will link up via a manifold to a heat exchanger which will use the heat from the ground to heat the building.
