From Seed to Flower

Little Miss Ellie and I planted some sunflower seeds awhile back;  several of the flowers opened today. I saw lots of bees on them and came in to get my camera, but I got sidetracked and forgot to go back out to get a photo until much later when the bees had left the area.  :-)) 

I did some work in the garden today but it got too warm and I left the job unfinished.....maybe tomorrow I will finish with Little Miss helping me? Maybe not.

Can you believe it is already August? I hope it is not as hot in our area as it was last month and that your August is pleasant too.
