Early

The first rhododendron of the season. Last year I blipped rhododendrons  on October 8th, so this one is very early.

The news stories of the day are the same, though the details change. At the Olympics the swimming is over but now we have track and field and equestrian. The Covid numbers are not particularly worse but neither are they better. But like the rhododendron, we carry on hopefully.
