Food Photography... practice 1

I have managed to persuade a local cafe to let me take some photographs in situ of the preparation of their menu and cakes... today was a 'dummy' run to check out the setting and lighting... both are fine it is making sure that all the kitchen paraphanalia is hidden from view...
For this shot we moved the action into the restaurant to give a better back drop - I took some of their cakes and coffee machine.
I have negotiated going back next week to take more shots - they are happy with what I am doing and it is great practise for me...

This shot was taken before I set up the studio lights - once set up these eliminated the shadow on the back wall... I will add some further images to my flickr site and blipfolio. Next week the lights will be set up sooner.... all a learning curve..
