Water activities

A large number of children were having lessons in various water sports at Hollingworth Lake, including sailing and canoeing. Some were also standing on surf boards paddling themselves along. Mrs ER said:

"Oh look, they are waterboarding."

I pointed out that it is called "paddle boarding" and that "waterboarding" is a form of torture. She replied:

"For me, standing on one of those things on a cold lake with a chilly breeze blowing would be a form of torture."
