Long way from home

Not the cyclist, although he might be, but Harvest the little ex - Cornish fishing boat being refurbed on Ten Mile Bank. The owners are going to strip off the red paint to bare wood  and clear varnish it. I did say I quite liked the red but each to their own. 
Seeing it brought to mind the 2019 film Bait which we watched at the weekend. Filmed in very old school style reminiscent of silent movie technology but with audio, it has strong elements of Italian neorealism with occasional nods to Ingrid Bergman. Produced a year before the pandemic it shows "staycation" in a very different light from the way it is currently promoted. Worth a watch IMO.
