Visitor

Baloo, one of our neighbours' cats, obviously loves our garden. He rolls around on the terrace, nibbles on the catnip and can often be found on this perch.

Thankfully he is a friendly cat, but sometimes he gets too close to our girls. Munni (the cat) will react by running away and upstairs; Rani by sitting in our doorway and not venturing out at all; and only little Chaiyya will hiss at the intruder to make him go away. 

Still, sometimes Baloo manages to sneak into the house. Last week he suddenly appeared in P's office, panicked, and didn't find his way back down the stairs, so P had to carry him outside. 

This morning, Baloo walked into our kitchen as if he belonged there - probably hoping for leftover cat food. Bad luck: Rani and Chaiyya are like two little hoovers, they never leave any food behind. And I made sure the uninvited visitor left the house as quickly as he came in.
