Spiky day

It's been one of those days... I'm a bit under the weather which is causing me some not inconsiderable pain (buscopan, hot water bottle, mint tea, paracetamol and codeine not really touching it).

The viewer this morning forgot about his appointment so we had to rearrange for 4pm (when I'd hoped to be horizontal in my pjs) and then he was borderline rude when he arrived. Or maybe I'm just ultra-sensitive today.

I've been hoping for a phone call which didn't happen so now I'm thinking that there isn't good news on the way.

I'm off to bed in a minute and hoping for a better day tomorrow :)
