Scapa Flow Cheers Up

I’ll give you monotonous Monday.  Yet another exceedingly dull day without sunshine – the latest in a string.  However there was some light relief, for CMC (playing the part of birthday girl) enjoyed her lobster lunch about which she had no warning. I even bought her a tunic and a dress; my only mistake was trying them on in Starlings – that shop in Kirkwall that every male who knows what’s good for him must visit.
 
Very late in the day an orange orb has entered from the western wings, taunting us with the birthday day that could have been.

The only badge I was awarded in the BBs was for ‘Reconstituting Stale Buns’.
