A monumental day, my first trip to a supermarket in months, possibly the first time this year! Only went for some fresh fruit, but felt like a kid in a candy shop, came home with all sorts of things not on my list!

This afternoon an unexpected hospital doc home visit for one of my patients, so my plans kind of went out of the window. (Interestingly, the doc said he believed the fall in COVID case numbers was due to the fact that people weren’t bothering to get tested anymore.) Instead was on bodyguard duty for a little fluffy cat who nervously ventured out into the garden. Thankfully no sighting of you no who, apart from first thing this morning when he turned up crying at the back door. I ignored him, and felt very mean.

Yellow weather warning for thunderstorms for us today. About 5pm the skies darkened, the thunder started to rumble in the distance, and the rain soon arrived, though didn’t amount to much.
