At the end

Over seven weeks six people I know well have been affected by the sudden or unexpected death of a family member or close friend. Three were young people. The latest, one week ago - Covid, aged 24 - has hit me with all of them. He went into hospital in the week that his age cohort became eligible for the vaccination he'd been waiting for.

I ache for the people around me who are grieving. I grieve for the lives unlived.
