Red Flag

I don't see red flags at the lifeguard stand very often.  On Sunday, the temperature was 88 degrees F with a heat index of 102 degrees F.  The wind was 22 miles per hour, and there was a severe thunderstorm warning for the next several hours.  The warning proved to be true in late afternoon and about 11 pm.
