Best friends...

Got a call from our friends T & V who live round the corner from us.  They had a lovely batch of homemade strawberry ice cream that they said they would hand in whilst talking their Golden Retriever Milly her morning walk.  

Poor Milly has a skin infection on her tummy from rolling in the heather up on the moor so hasn't met up with Lola and David for a couple of months, so I suggested they stay for coffee and the girls could have a play date in the garden.  The weather was lovely so we all ended up sitting in the garden.

Lola and Milly absolutely adore each other and were ecstatic to be together again.  Lots of chasing each other and games of bitey face :-)) And it was  funny to observe that when resting Lola went to T & V for cuddles and Milly came to us :-)

Time flew and before we knew it, it was 1pm!  T & V headed off on a shorter than planned walk as Milly had expended so much energy with Lola, that was all she needed!  David went in the pool with Alan for his hydrotherapy session and I put my feet up for an hour! 

Two and a half hour zoom meeting with Alan's team's line manager Kim discussing recruitment and other operational stuff.  A very fruitful meeting.
