Giant Tingle Tree........

........encompassing a mini Driver. 

We worked out that it would have been almost 30 years since we last visited this majestic forest known as The Valley of the Giants. (well, we've driven through but not stopped) so we walked down to see the Giant Tingle Tree. I'm pleased we did as we may never get back down this way again. Who knows?

After leaving there we drove through picturesque Bridgetown as I had seen on the internet that the Blackwood river had burst its banks and was raging. It was!! There were roads closed and the paths that run alongside the river were nowhere to be seen!The river was running at over 7 metres when we left and rising - spectacular - see extras ;-))  

The steel railing you see in the third extra is the highest part of the ramp that goes to the cycle track or should that be amphibious vehicle track??
