Remains from 1 August
No worries - no people or animals were harmed here.
It is a tradition to light large fires on National Day (1 August) - ideally on the mountain heights.
This was also the case in our neighbourhood, although we didn't expect it at all. Actually, we only wanted to go for a short walk in the evening after it stopped raining. But it turned into a whole evening. The farmer in our neighbourhood had built a big pile of wood, unfortunately with wood from the apricot trees that froze in the spring. So a group of people spontaneously formed to celebrate and have fun. As I had neither a camera nor a smartphone with me, I can only post a photo from the day after.
