Exploring

Took the kids to Whipsnade Zoo today. Luckily no rain and we had a great time wandering round and seeing all the animals (and, of course, their poo!). Lots to talk about (especially the story about the daddy lion who had died and so there wasn’t one with a mane), and how the engine driver makes the steam train whistle sound, and they were both really good all day. Only tricky bit was keeping an eye on them both when they dashed off in opposite directions at the adventure playground which was very busy but I managed to keep track somehow! Their driving of the little jeeps around the dinosaur section was also a bit hairy but that was mainly as I was trying to film them as well as stop them crashing as they went round. I dropped them off and drove straight back here for a quiet evening as T&Kt were out with her mum for dinner.
