Wasted

The unpleasant, cold wind was back today so I didn't even try to find anything tiny outside. A quick look around the kitchen revealed a packet of cloves.

That led me to wonder exactly what they are apart from an ingredient in mulled wine, and other dishes. Apparently they are the dried, immature flower buds of the evergreen clove tree.

As much as I enjoy being in lockdown with Mr isbi, sadly he isn't a fan of gluhwein so the cloves are of use only for photography at present.
