Butterfly Magic

I nipped over the back to see what we should do about the ever-increasing thistles and brambles. If the seedheads of the thistles are left, they will take over the parkland, as will the brambles.  At the moment the insects are making the most of them and everything is too wet to get blown on the wind.

I spied one of my favourite tiny butterflies and couldn't resist one last plea to stand on my finger.
