You’ve been framed

Or rather, we have!

This is the last of my wedding projects and Mr A did a great job of helping me; try as I might, I couldn’t get the staple gun to work. It needed a MAN, according to Mr A brute force.

I had the idea to display photos of us and Mr A has already cut me some small log pieces that I can slot photos into and dot around the tables.

However, I kept looking at the photo I took of the cake table in our function room and decided I needed something else to grace it.
Pinterest once again came to the rescue.

The frame is actually a leftover piece from our ‘gin bar’ crates. I’ve backed it with hessian (I’ve a huge roll for the table runners so plenty to spare) and have had to compromise with plastic ivy (all the other flowers and greenery will come from our garden) but we are both pleased with the result.

The photos turned out great; I love the way we mirror each other through our lives before we met.

I’ll be sad when the wedding is over; I’ve really enjoyed planning and making stuff. Maybe I need to change career and become a wedding planner? ;-)
