STATION

Travelling around chasing old railways again. This is Boosbeck Station, part of the Cleveland Railway built in 1862. This is just further down the line from the viaduct I published here . . .
Extra shows Seeing Double . . . the nearside bridge today carries huge freight trains from Boulby Potash Mine to Teesport. The bridge in the background used to carry the line from Boosbeck to Brotton and is not in use. I had planned to photograph a freight train for you . . . but it got cancelled ! Oh well  . . . another day.
Apologies . . . behind with comments again . . . stay safe all !
