Harvest 2021 at Castle Camps

At last Michael and Chris have managed to start their harvest. The weather over the last few weeks has played havoc with the crops, a lot of the barley and even more of the oats has been beaten down. This slows the combine down as it picks up the flattened crop. The ground underneath is still quite wet too. The forecast for the later part of the week is poor so they are making the most of today and tomorrow to try and get in the barley.

The extra is Michael just setting of to the barn with the very first load of barley.
