We booked a night in a cheap hotel half way down to our holiday spot. When we'd originally booked we were still struggling with Long Covid, and thought the drive would be too long. We're both fine now, but it was still nice to break up the journey wiht an extra night away.

We got sushi, walked in the last of the evening sunshine, and were happy to find that the 'swan sanctuary' next to our hotel didn't disappoint!
